You can add, alter, and drop column defaults in Sybase Central using the Value tab of the Column Properties window.
To display the Properties window for a column
Connect to the database as a user with DBA authority.
In the left pane, double-click Tables.
Click the table.
Click the Columns tab.
Right-click the column and choose Properties.
