To use failover on Windows
Launch the ODBC DataSource Administrator.
Select the data source you want to use and choose Configure.
Click the Connection tab.
Select Enable High Availability in the High Availability Information Group.
Provide the failover server name in the Server Name field.
Provide the failover server port in the Server Port field.
