To enable SSL connections on Mac OS X
Launch the iODBC Administrator from Applications | Utilities.
Select the data source you want to use and add two new keyword value pair.
Encryption=ssl TrustedFIle=<filename>
where <filename> is the complete path to the trusted roots file.
