For Sun Solaris 8 and above, Open Client and Open Server requires that the libthread.so that you use be the one located in /usr/lib/lwp. You must link your application in one of the following ways:

-R/usr/lib/lwp
This command is not applicable to Sun Solaris 10 x64
(Opteron 64-bit) platforms.
Set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable to include /usr/lib/wp
