Embedded SQL/C (32-bit) is supported on IBM AIX 5.1, when Embedded SQL/C applications are built on 32-bit AIX 4.3.x platforms and are run on IBM AIX 5.1 in a 12.5.1 Embedded SQL/C environment, using the 32-bit runtime (libxxxx.so) libraries.
You cannot build 32-bit or 64-bit Embedded SQL/C
applications on IBM AIX 5.1 using the 32-bit AIX 4.3.3 product.
