These are the general steps to build a CSA.

  1. Review the design considerations.

  2. Prepare a sample CSA as a shell and write the CSA program.

    See Chapter 3, “Writing a CSA.”

  3. Compile, link-edit, and test the CSA in the standard manner for CICS command-level programs.

    See Chapter 4, “Compiling and Testing a CSA.”
