Use the DB2 UDB Option Configuration Tran ID Selection panel and the DB2 UDB Option Configuration panels to alter the DB2 UDB Option for CICS configuration settings as necessary. The settings are automatically saved in the configuration dataset.
When you change configuration properties in the DB2
UDB Option Configuration panel, the new values remain in effect
until they are changed again.
Changing the DB2 UDB Option for CICS configuration
settings
Using a 3270 terminal emulator, sign on to CICS, clear the panel, and enter the following command:
AMCF
The DB2 UDB Option Configuration Tran ID Selection panel appears as shown in the following figure. This panel enables you to select the transaction ID for which you want to change the configuration, or it begins the process of configuring a new transaction ID.
The first time the previous panel appears, no Profile
Name entries appear.
Either select the transaction ID from the list and press Enter, or press F4 to add a new transaction ID.The DB2 UDB Option Configuration panel appears.
Change the settings to the values you prefer (as explained in “Understanding the configuration properties”), and press Enter.When you add a new transaction ID, the Transaction ID field is blank. You must enter a 4-character transaction ID in the Transaction ID field.
