Specifies the platform-specific LU 6.2 connection information or the IP address for TCP/IP communications.

• For TCP/IP, the name or IP address of the host.

• For LU 6.2 communications, the value is platform-dependent:

  • Windows NT: Local LU alias

  • Solaris: Local LU alias

  • HP: Local LU alias

  • AIX: Local LU alias

The communications protocol determines the maximum acceptable length for this property value.
