Uninstalling Sybase products from environments that contain multiple Sybase products may affect operation of the remaining Sybase products. This occurs because Sybase products frequently share modules or files, such as Connectivity (files in the Sybase OCS-12_5 directory), JVM (files in the shared or shared-1_0 directories), Language Modules, and Sybase Software Access Management (SySAM.)
When you are uninstalling Sybase products from a directory that contains multiple Sybase products, be aware that if you choose to uninstall one of the products that share files, you may remove files that the remaining products require and thus, cause the products to fail.
