ECDA supports a variety of client interfaces. You can connect to ECDA with:
Client applications written either in Java using jConnect for JDBC, or in C/C++ using Open Client libraries
Open Server applications
JDBC and ODBC applications
ECDA interoperates with other Sybase products and product suites. With ECDA, you can:
Replicate data bidirectionally between heterogeneous or non-Sybase data servers in conjunction with Replication Server and Replication Server Heterogeneous Replication Options
Access and change data through the Web in conjunction with EAServer
