Many Transact-SQL commands use table names of up to three
parts. ODBC
supports the following three-part naming convention:
If
the first or second parts are not present, they are omitted. The
access service supports three-part objects in all cases in which
a SQL object is required in a SQL statement. In doing so, the SQL
transformation code either drops the qualifier or performs the correct
action with the qualifier.
