When Adaptive Server Enterprise receives a select statement for a Web method proxy table, Adaptive Server Enterprise forwards the request to the Web Services Consumer in a Tabular Data Stream (TDS). The SDS server, which acts as a server for CIS, allows the Web Services Consumer to intercept and handle the TDS from Adaptive Server Enterprise.
