Release Bulletin Adaptive Server® Enterprise Version 12.5.2 for Windows

Using DSEDIT to edit sql.ini files

[CR #350610] Sybase often recommends that you use different installation directories on the same Windows machine when installing multiple Sybase products. However, DSEDIT used to edit the sql.ini file only allows you to work with the sql.ini file in the system’s %SYBASE% location.

DSEDIT cannot be used to work with different sql.ini files at two different locations.

Workaround: Either manually edit the non-%SYBASE% sql.ini file using a plain text editor, or consolidate all sql.ini entries into the same sql.ini file.
