Before installing Adaptive Server version 12.5.4 on Linux, run:
df
The Linux installation requires df to determine the available space on a file system. If this command does not return to the command prompt, the Adaptive Server installation fails.
Restart your system, or work with your system administrator to resolve the issue with df before proceeding with the installation of Adaptive Server.
