[CR #407746] Due to a Red Hat 3.0 update 3 anomaly, Adaptive Server running on RHEL 3.0 64-bit distribution occasionally stops responding when kernel asynchronous I/O is enabled.
This problem has been reported to Red Hat and addressed in kernel 2.4.21-27.6.EL.
