[CR #335331]The EJB Server does not start on Windows even when it has a valid license and the configuration parameter enable enterprise java beans set to 1.
Workaround:
To bring up the EJB Server on Windows, the file run_ejb_server.bat should be downloaded and copied to the %SYBASE%\%SYBASE_EJB%\bin directory.
Once the file is copied verify that it has “Read and Execute” permissions.
Now restart Adaptive Server and the EJB Server should start. The sp_extengine stored procedure can be used to verify if the EJB Server has started sucessfully.
