(CR #454413) On a 64-bit machine, ODBC data sources do not work, because SQL Anywhere is a 32-bit application and is incompatible with the ODBC system data source name (DSN). The DSN is the logical name that ODBC uses to access data.
Workaround: Either register the system DSN or define a user DSN.
Select Start | Run.
To register the system DSN:
In the Run dialog, enter C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32
.
In the ODBC Administrator, select the System DSN tab.
To define a user DSN:
In
the Run dialog, enter odbcad32
.
In the ODBC Administrator, select the User DSN tab.
Select the data source name, and click Add.
Select the database driver, then click Finish.
