You can install EAServer 6.1 as a new installation or as an upgrade to an EAServer 6.0, 6.0.1, or 6.0.2 installation. You can also migrate existing EAServer 5.x entities to EAServer 6.1. See the EAServer Migration Guide for instructions.
EAServer 6.1 is compatible with:
Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 or later
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 or later
Windows Server 2003
Windows Vista
See the EAServer Release Bulletin for updates to system compatibility information including recommended service pack or maintenance levels.
Before installing EAServer, verify that the psapi.dll file
is located in the %SYSTEM ROOT%\system32 directory
(for example, C:\WINDOWS\system32 ).
If this file is not installed, the installation may end abruptly.
