Review the datatype translations available for your primary and replicate data servers. Determine the translations you want and the methods for delivering them:
Set up the environment and run the scripts that enable HDS for your system. Refer to the Replication Server Configuration Guide for your platform for instructions.
Set up class-level and column-level translations using the procedures described in the following sections.
