The FAILOVER_MODE section has two parameters that ECDA Option for Oracle does not support in its tnsnames.ora file:
DELAY
RETRIES
However, two new configuration file parameters have been added to replace them:
fo_delay, which defines the number of seconds to wait between failover retry attempts (default is 0).
fo_retries, which defines the number of times the failover retry will be attempted (default is 0).
