RepConnector is one part of a larger system full of several products. You must have this system available to install RepConnector. For example, if your application server is Sybase EAServer, then EAServer must be installed, configured, and running before you begin to install RepConnector.
To ensure that you install RepConnector successfully, you should follow this basic workflow:
Review system requirements
Install and start the application server
Start InstallShield
Install and deploy RepConnector
Verify the installation
Set or verify the values of required environment variables
