[CR #340405]The default character set for the HPUX platforms is roman8.However, the Java virtual machine does not support the roman8 character set. You may receive an error message when using the Sybase Central plugin when connecting to Adaptive Server on HPUX.
Workaround: Select Options from the Connect dialog and set the language to iso_1 and reconnect to your server.
