The Replication Agent for UDB requires that LOGARCHMETH1 configuration parameter be set to LOGRETAIN (this is equivalent to setting LOGRETAIN to RECOVERY in earlier versions).The purpose of setting the above parameter in UDB is to enable archive logging in place of circular logging.
To see if LOGRETAIN FOR RECOVERY is set, execute the following:
get db cfg for <db-alias>
