The components of the Mainframe Connect IPS are installed from CD using InstallShield and click-through licensing. Components may also be configured from installation.
For Mainframe Connect Server Option for CICS and Client
Option for CICS, you must determine whether to use the IBM sockets
interface before you install and configure. See “IBM CICS sockets interface for Mainframe Connect Server and Client Options” for more
information.
