Creating a Service from the Enterprise Explorer

Create a service to encapsulate business process logic and data into a reusable unit.

Prerequisites 

Create a Sybase WorkSpace project.

  1. In the Enterprise Explorer, right-click an appropriate enterprise resource.
  2. Select Create Service .

    Follow the wizard instructions to create a new service.

  3. From the Summary page:
    • Click Back to return to wizard pages to make changes.
    • Click Finish.
    The service displays in the WorkSpace Navigator and opens in the Service editor.
