Copying and Pasting a Resource into the Same Project

You can copy and reuse any valid resource in the WorkSpace Navigator while maintaining integrity with its referenced files.

This means that the path to the modified resource is updated to reflect the change. If the change results in an error, the service referencing the pasted file is be marked with a Problem marker.

  1. Right-click the resource you want to copy in the WorkSpace Navigator and select Copy.
  2. Right-click the project name and select Paste.
  3. Rename the resource in the Name Conflict dialog and click OK.

    The resource appears in the same project with the new name.
