Starting Adaptive Server Enterprise

Use the External Tools feature in the main menu bar of Sybase WorkSpace to start the Adaptive Server Enterprise Developer Edition server.

The available servers depend on the installation type and component selection that you made at the time of installation.

  1. Close and restart Sybase WorkSpace. Select Start > Programs > Sybase > Sybase WorkSpace > Sybase WorkSpace 2. 1.
  2. Start the ASE Developer Edition server. Select Run > External Tools > ASE 15.0 .
