Migrating a Workspace

After you upgrade to WorkSpace 2.1, you must manually migrate any workspaces you created in a prior WorkSpace version.

Note: After performing the upgrade, you may encounter errors the first time you access your old WorkSpace projects (WorkSpace projects that have not been imported to the new WorkSpace version). You can ignore the errors.
  1. Navigate to the location of the workspace in your environment that you want to migrate.
  2. Delete the .metadata folder at the root of the workspace directory.
  3. Launch Sybase WorkSpace 2.1, indicating the workspace when prompted. Sybase WorkSpace launches, creating the appropriate .metadata for the workspace for WorkSpace 2.1.
