Adding License Files

You can add license files to an existing Sybase WorkSpace license using the WorkSpace License Manager.

  1. Obtain the necessary license. See Preinstallation Tasks for SySAM.
  2. Start Sybase WorkSpace.
  3. To open the WorkSpace License Manager, select Window > Preferences > Sybase, Inc. > WorkSpace License Manager from the main menu.
  4. Select the License Files tab, and click Add.
  5. Navigate to your new license file, and click Open. The license file displays in the License Files field. The contents of the license file display in the panel below the License Files field.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Yes at the message prompt to restart Sybase WorkSpace. Sybase WorkSpace restarts.
  8. Verify that your license upgrade was successful by restarting the WorkSpace License Manager and selecting the Licenses tab. Your licensed packages and features are shown here.
