Creating a Faces Configuration File

Create a new faces-config.xml file. The Faces Configuration File wizard assigns a new version number to the file, and you can choose to update the web.xml file with the new faces configuration information.

1. Select File > New > JSF Configuration File from the main menu bar of the Web Application Development perspective.
   Note: For other ways to access the New wizard, see Accessing a New Wizard in the Web Application Development Perspective.
2. Follow the wizard instructions. The wizard displays help that assists you in creating the file.
