Managed Beans

Use the Managed Bean Creation wizard to create various types of managed beans.

Table 1. Managed bean types
Bean type Description
DataWindow Use a DataWindow-managed bean to create a data-driven component in a Web application.
EJB Use an EJB-managed bean to use enterprise Java bean components.
Java Use a Java-managed bean, which is based on a Java class, to bind bean properties and business logic to the user interface components of the Java ServerPage (JSP).
Service Use a service-managed bean to create a service-driven component that invokes a SOAP service in a Web application.
