EJB Module

Assemble one or more Enterprise JavaBeans into a single deployable unit using a standard Java archive (JAR) file.

Once created, you can use the EJB module as a standalone application, or combine it with other modules to create a J2EE enterprise application.

The JAR file contains:

One or more deployable EJBs.
Deployment descriptor stored in an XML file, which declares the contents of the module, defines the structure and external dependencies of the beans in the modules, and describes how the EJBs are to be used at runtime.
