Setting XML Editor Preferences

You can set XML editor preferences.

1. Select Window > Preferences from the main menu bar.

   The Preferences dialog box opens.

2. Expand Sybase, Inc in the left pane.
3. Select XML Editor.

   The XML Editor dialog box opens in the right pane.

4. Select the XML Editor tab and select the appropriate preferences.
5. Select the Colors tab.

   A list of foreground colors appears.

6. To change a color, select the item in the list, then click its color bar to the right of the list.

   The Color selection box appears.

7. Do one of the following:
   
   • Select a basic color.
   • Create a custom color.
   1. Click Define Custom Colors.
   2. Click on the color you want to use then move the arrow on the color bar to create your color.

      The color displays in the Color Solid box.

   3. Click Add to Custom Colors.

      The color now appears in the Custom colors palette.

8. Click OK.
