Defining a SOAP Service Endpoint Binding

Define SOAP endpoint binding operation parameters and properties.

  1. Do one of the following:
    • If the service needs to be bound to an endpoint:
      1. Right-click the Interface box in the Service Interface diagram and select Add Endpoint.
      2. Select SOAP as the endpoint style and click Next.
      3. Follow the instructions in the wizard.
    • If the service is already bound to a SOAP endpoint, on the Service Interface page of the Service editor, double-click either the line connecting the interface and binding or the binding and the endpoint, or right-click and select Edit Binding.
  2. To expose operations that the service is not currently exposing, right-click the binding, select Add Operation, and click Browse to browse for an existing method.
  3. Edit or add operation parameters as necessary in the Service Binding editor.
