Configuring the Runtime Container for a Sybase Services Package Profile

You can change runtime logging levels from the Runtime Container Configuration tab.

  1. Select the level of logging verbosity for this package. Each level includes all prior levels. For example, INFO includes all messages in WARNING and SEVERE. configuration settings for the package.
    Table 1. Runtime configuration settings
    Runtime property Description
    Logging
    OFF No logging
    SEVERE Logs messages indicating a serious failure; provides exception condition logging, including any fatal to continued processing.
    WARNING Logs messages indicating a potential problem; provides abnormal flow or behavior information but does not include exception conditions.
    INFO Logs informational messages.
    FINE Minimum debug level; valid only with a Debug build. Provides entry and exit tracing and diagnostic messages.
    FINER Provides developer-level debug information; valid only with a Debug build.
    FINEST Provides the maximum debug level; valid only with a Debug build. Enables hexadecimal message dumping.
    Note: The runtime log can be found at Sybase\WorkSpace\DevRuntimes\EAServer\bin\<servicename>.log.
  2. Save the package profile.
