Editing an EAServer Services Package Profile

Use the EAServer Services Package Profile editor to define and edit the services included in the package, configure handlers, transports, and other package profile properties.

Prerequisites 

Create the EAServer Services package profile.

  1. Right-click the Java service package and select Open With > EAServer Services Package Profile Editor .

    The EAServer Services Package Profile editor opens.

  2. Select the tabs described in the following table to define or edit package profile properties:

    Introduction Learn about the EAServer Services Package Profile editor:
    • View a brief summary about using the services package profile editor.
    • From Help, go to help for the services package profile editor.
    • From Tutorial, go to a tutorial (cheat sheet) to walk you through developing a services package profile.
    • From Start, go to the Overview page and create the services package profile.
    Overview Review and edit general information about the services package profile.
    Contents Update services included in an EAServerservices package profile.
    Endpoint Configuration Each service in a services package profile must be bound to an endpoint.
    Services Specify service-specific packaging details, including SOAP, deployment, service handlers, and service parameters.
    Handlers Specify global handlers that apply to all services in a package.
    Handler Chains Specify handler chain details for this package profile.
    Global Configuration Specify engine-wide details for parameters, roles, request flow handlers, and response flow handlers.
    Transports Specify transport specific details for parameters, request flow handlers, and response flow handlers.
    Type Mappings Specify mappings between a Java class and SOAP data.
    Runtime Container Configuration Select the destination server version for the package profile.
  3. Select File > Save.
