Timeouts

A timeout regulates a specified set of activities in a business process when a specific timing event occurs.

Timeouts can be absolute, which means a given point in time, for example, 3:00 p.m., or relative to the start of the complex activity, for example, 30 seconds after the complex activity is invoked.
