Stateless Services

A stateless service does not maintain state information between message calls.

You cannot exercise control over the service itself, but can control the package that sends events to a service. This is done by pausing or resuming the service package. In essence, you are interrupting and then restoring the data flow to the services that act as request/event consumers.
