Creating an Incremental Index

Run an incremental index for a file system or passive document store to index all the new and updated documents.

Index entries for deleted documents are removed from the indexes.

  1. In the Enterprise Explorer, expand Sybase Search Servers > (Sybase Search Connection Profile) > Sybase Search Server > Document Stores.
  2. Expand File System Import Manager and select the document store for which you want to create an incremental index.
    Note: Expand Internet Import Manager to create an incremental index for a passive document store.
  3. Right-click the selected document store and click Incremental Index.
  4. Click OK to re-run the indexing process.
