Developing a Security Service

In addition to using the native security features that are supported by the transports underlying your endpoint connections, you can implement the following security measures directly into the flow of your business process service using the SecurityService provided in the Sybase WorkSpace Service Explorer.

1. Completing the Setup for a SecurityService
   Determine your security goals, then complete the required setup before adding a SecurityService to a business process.
2. Securing Access within a Business Process Service
   In addition to the native security support provided by the underlying transports, you can provide additional security to transports by defining authorization and authentication operations for user IDs and passwords.
3. Encrypting Data Flow in a Business Process Service
   In addition to the native security support provided by the underlying transports, you can provide additional security to transports by encrypting data flowing to a business process service through the encryption and decryption operations in Sybase WorkSpace.
