Schema Object Editor Configuration

The Schema Object Editor Configuration determine the visibility and display order of pages.

Field Explanation
Available Editors Available editors are determined by the selected database type.
  • Sybase_ASA_9.x — available editors are ASA Procedure Editor, ASA Function Editor, ASA Trigger Editor, ASA Event Editor, ASA Index Editor, View Editor, Table Schema Editor, Temporary Table Schema Editor, and ASA User-Defined Type Editor.
  • Sybase_ASE_12.x — available editors are ASE Index Editor and Table Schema Editor.
  • Sybase_ASE_15.x — available editors are ASE15 Index Editor, Table Schema Editor, ASE Procedure Editor, ASE Trigger Editor, View Editor, ASE Default Editor, ASE Rule Editor, ASE User-Defined Type Editor.
  • Sybase_IQ_12.7.x — available editors are IQ Procedure Editor, IQ Function Editor, IQ Event Editor, IQ Index Editor, View Editor, Table Schema Editor, Temporary Table Schema Editor, and IQ User-Defined Type Editor.
Pages Setting The visibility and display order of pages is determined by moving pages from the Available Pages panel to the Selected Pages pane and ordering the selection with the available buttons. The pages presented vary according to your chosen settings for Available Editors.
Always Show the Preview Dialog When Saving the Editor Select this preference to show the preview dialog when saving the dirty editor.
Use the Editor of the Latest Version Without Prompt If no editor is defined for the specified database version, the Schema Object Editor uses the editor of the latest database version to open the database object.
