Opening a Referenced Database Object

You can load a table, view, default, and user-defined datatype referenced in a SQL file or procedural object definition while you are editing the referencing SQL code.

  1. Place the cursor anywhere in the SQL statement that calls the referenced object.
  2. Choose Navigate > Open Declaration from the main menu. Alternately, you can right-click and choose Open Declaration from the context menu, or press F3.

    The referenced object opens in a an editor.
