Checking a Replication Server Publication

Check a publication to indicate whether or not subscriptions can be created for the publication and to report the number of articles contained in the publication.

1. Open Enterprise Explorer, and connect to your primary Replication Server.
2. Expand the view for your Replication Server connection profile, and expand the view for the primary database containing the replication publication you want to check.
3. Expand the Publications folder, right-click the publication you want to check, and select Check Publication from the context menu. The SQL Results view reports whether or not the publication is valid and the number of articles in the publication.
