Assigning a Role to Mobile Business Objects and Operations

Assign logical roles to mobile business objects and operations using the Properties window.

Prerequisites 

You must first create at least one logical role for the Mobile Application project before you can assign a role to the mobile business object (MBO).

  1. From the Mobile Application Explorer, right-click the mobile business object to which you are assigning a logical role and select Detailed Properties.
  2. Select the Roles tab.
  3. Click the Add New Row icon.
  4. Click OK.
The role is assigned to the MBO and appears in the Roles folder.
