Adding a Web Service Connection

Use a Web service connection as a data source or to access a remote operation.

1. Right-click Web Service Connections in the Server Explorer and select Add Connection.
2. Select the Web service URL and click Go.
   To locate Web services on the Internet, you can use these URLs:
   

   • XMethods
   • seekda
   Note: Sybase recommends that you change the value of Web Reference Name to the Web service name. The default value is the Web site domain name, which may cause problems if you create two Web service connections to the same domain.
3. Click Add Reference to create the connection.
