Connections

A runtime connection enables mobile application development.

A connection contains the property information needed to connect to a runtime instance. It manages the connections that are running on an application server. A connection is added through an extension point. When you create a connection, you specify standard configuration parameters, such as a connection URL. These parameter values are stored as secure metadata for the connection, which can be used for connectivity checks.
