Configuring Your Environment for SAP

Certain SAP files must be downloaded from SAP and included in server and Eclipse files for SAP to work correctly with Sybase Unwired Platform.

  1. Go to the SAP Web site at http://service.sap.com/connectors and download the latest SAP JavaConnector, for example, sapjco-ntintel-2.1.8. You must be a registered SAP user, and obtain a certificate from SAP to enter the Web site.
  2. Unzip the file, which contains the following files that you need:
    • sapjco.jar
    • librfc32.dll
    • sapjcorfc.dll
  3. Copy the librfc32.dll and the sapjcorfc.dll and paste them into the following directory on the machine where Eclipse and Unwired Server are running: C:\WINDOWS\system32
  4. For the server, copy the sapjco.jar file and paste it into the following directory:
  5. For Eclipse tooling, paste the sapjco.jar file into: \Unwired_WorkSpace\Eclipse\sybase_workspace\mobile\eclipse\plugins\com.sybase.uep.com.sap.mw.jco_1.0.0.<timestamp>
  6. If Unwired Server is running as a Windows service:
    1. Shut down the server.
    2. Open a command window and change to <installation_directory>\Servers\UnwiredServer, and run: mlservice.bat install
    3. Restart the service.
