Device application data is displayed in tables; you can sort each column in ascending or descending order.
PrerequisitesÂ
- The device application must be running on the device. This example is for a device application running on a BlackBerry 8800 device.
- The table must have the Sort Menu in the Context Menu Options property selected.

From the main BlackBerry Applications menu, open the device application.

In the table that contains the data you want to sort, click the menu key, and under Sort on Column, select the column you want to sort.

Under Sort Column, select the column you want to sort and click the enter button on the center button.
The first time you sort a selected column, it sorts in ascending order. The next time you sort the same column, it sorts in descending order.
