Use the Properties page to configure the attributes for the header and footer on the Screen Design page.
Click the header or footer on the screen displayed in the Device Application Designer editor to display the Properties view, where you can configure the header or footer.

| Header Text | The string to be displayed in the screen header. |
| Use Variable |
Click Browse to select the variable with which to associate the header. |
| Assign Image | Click Browse to search for an image with which to associate the header. Click Clear to clear the image selection. |
| Style | Select the header or footer style from the drop-down menu, or click Search to search available styles. Click Edit to edit the selected style. Click Clear to clear the style. Click Restore to restore to the original style. |
| Border Style | The background color of the border style is used for the border of the header or footer. Click Restore to change the color back to its default style. |
