Use the Preferences dialog to edit the severity of the warnings and errors that appear in the Problems view.

Right-click on any page of the Device Application Designer (except the Introduction page), and select Preferences.

In the Preferences dialog, navigate to .

From the Problem list, select the error or warning to edit, then choose the severity level:
- Error – an error appears in the Problems view. Errors prevent the generation of the device application.
- Warning – a warning is not as critical as an error, and the problem that caused the warning appears in the Problems view.
- Ignore – when severity level is set to "ignore," the applicable condition does not appear in the Problems view.

Click Apply.
